NOTES: One of the more political local recording groups, the Cardinals issued at least four records on Chicago's Cha Cha label. they had a classic "garage band" sound and the double sider "Hatchet Face" / "Go Go Girl" is a prime example of raw unrestrained rock and roll."I Want you" is the flip side of their first release "Tomatoe Juice", which was too hot for most stations to play by 60s standards. the group was from the Fairmount & Marion Area and consisted of Tom Penzone, greg Curtis, Paul Fields and Steve Walker.
